WE WENT TO THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL, BUT SOMEHOW NEVER CROSSED PATHS. THAT ALL CHANGED ON NEW YEAR’S EVE 2013 , WHERE WE FINALLY MET. BOTH OF US HAPPENED TO BE THERE WITH SOMEONE ELSE, BUT THAT DIDN’T STOP ZANE FROM MAKING THE FIRST MOVE AND ASKING FOR LIZZY’S NUMBER. (SMOOTH MOVE, RIGHT?)
FROM THAT NIGHT ON, THE ADVENTURE BEGAN. BACK THEN, WE WERE JUST TWO BROKE COLLEGE KIDS, BUT THAT DIDN’T STOP US FROM MAKING THE MOST OF EVERY MOMENT. SOME OF OUR FAVORITE MEMORIES ARE THE SIMPLE ONES—LIKE GETTING ALL DRESSED UP FOR “FANCY” DATES AT FOGO DE CHÃO DURING LUNCH BECAUSE $20 ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT WAS SIMPLY UNBEATABLE, OR OUR SPONTANEOUS DAY TRIPS TO SEDONA, HIKING TRAILS THAT FELT ENDLESS AND SOAKING IN EVERY MOMENT TOGETHER.
YEARS LATER, THOSE SAME RED ROCKS THAT HELD SO MANY OF OUR EARLY MEMORIES BECAME THE BACKDROP FOR ONE OF THE BIGGEST MOMENTS OF OUR LIVES: WHEN ZANE GOT DOWN ON ONE KNEE AND ASKED LIZZY TO MARRY HIM. SHORTLY AFTER AN UNFORGETTABLE ENGAGEMENT TRIP TO POSITANO, ITALY, WE FOUND OUT WE WERE EXPECTING OUR GREATEST ADVENTURE YET—A BABY BOY, DUE IN DECEMBER 2024.
ON JUNE 5, 2024, WE SECRETLY ELOPED—JUST THE TWO OF US—STARTING OUR FAMILY WITH A QUIET “I DO.” THEN, ON DECEMBER 18, 2024, WE WELCOMED OUR SWEET SON, LUCA, INTO THE WORLD. WITH HIM, OUR FAMILY WAS COMPLETE.
NOW THAT WE’VE BUILT THE FOUNDATION OF OUR FOREVER, WE CAN’T WAIT TO FINALLY CELEBRATE OUR MARRIAGE SURROUNDED BY OUR CLOSEST FAMILY AND FRIENDS. 💍✨

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE?
We recommend arriving on Thursday or Friday morning to enjoy some extra time exploring and to fully experience the magic of San Miguel! We will be in town all week leading up to the celebration. We’d love to spend more time with any of our guests arriving early or staying a bit longer.
ARE THERE HOTEL BLOCKS?
No, there are no hotel blocks. San Miguel is filled with beautiful boutique hotels and unique stays, offering plenty of wonderful options throughout the city.

Friday is your day to explore the beauty of San Miguel at your own pace. In the evening, join us for a lively callejonada through the vibrant, colorful streets of San Miguel de Allende, culminating in our Welcome party with drinks at 6:00 p.m. on the Terraza Trinitate rooftop.
Saturday, March 7th
Wedding Day!
Attire: Black Tie, Formal
Dress to impress! Our celebration is black-tie formal and we encourage guests to embrace in bold, beautiful colors.
Location: Hacienda San Luis Gonzaga
On Saturday morning and early afternoon, you’ll have plenty of time to explore. We will provide transportation from the center of San Miguel to the venue, Our wedding planner team will contact you closer to the wedding to give you more details
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT WEDDINGS?
"Celebration for adults only."
Although we love your little ones, we ask you to take care of the arrangements for them during our wedding day. Our celebration will be only for adults (over 18 years old) so that everyone can relax, disconnect and enjoy the party with us. We understand that this may require additional planning, especially for a destination wedding, and we greatly appreciate your understanding and support. If necessary, we will gladly recommend local babysitting services to make your stay more comfortable.
AM I INVITED TO THE WELCOME PARTY ON FRIDAY NIGHT?
Of course! We are pleased to invite all of our guests to the welcome party on Friday night. It will be a great opportunity to get together and celebrate before the big day. We will give you more details about the time and place when the date of the event approaches. We hope to see you all there!
